Today, the Minister of Community Safety, Albert Fritz, together with the CEO of Chrysalis Academy, Dr Lucille Meyer, and Chrysalis’ Head of Training, Janine Turner, will present the Academy's virtual photo album, marking its twentieth anniversary as we conclude youth month.

This virtual exhibition commemorates 20 years of Chrysalis Academy and begins with selected albums documenting life in the three-month programme. It showcases photographs taken by students, graduates and staff. Included are photos from the Chrysalis Youth Month Photo Exhibition initially displayed at the Artscape Theatre in 2017, photos from various Photo Clubs and Italian photographer Alessandro Iovino’s collection of photos detailing daily activities at Chrysalis Academy.

The virtual exhibition will be an on-going project for 2020, and new videos, artworks and essays will be added rendering it a living and growing virtual space which will be freely accessible to the public.
