Willows Primary School

The new Willows Primary School in Heideveld is expected to be complete later this year (2020), if everything goes according to plan.

The Department of Transport and Public Works started this R62 million project in June 2018. It will accommodate up to 1 240 learners and provide a range of educational amenities.

Learners are currently housed in temporary classrooms whilst the replacement school is being built.

Teaching facilities will comprise of 36 classrooms, including

  • four Grade R classrooms,
  • 12 foundation phase classrooms,
  • 12 intermediate classrooms,
  • four senior classrooms,
  • and four specialised classrooms.
