WC Netball Development Tournament to be officially opened by Minister Marais

MEDIA ALERT:  WC NETBALL DEVELOPMENT TOURNAMENT TO BE OFFICIALLY OPENED BY MINISTER MARAIS 

Tomorrow, 30 August 2019, Minister Anroux Marais will officially open the Western Cape Netball Development Tournament in Clanwilliam in the Cederberg Municipality.

As we proactively prepare to host the 2023 Netball World Cup in the Western Cape, tournaments of this nature significantly contribute to realizing our vision of a socially inclusive, creative, active and connected province.

The development tournament will also serve to create the enabling environment needed to increase local mass participation, skills development and talent identification in the code of netball to amplify our inclusion at higher levels of excellence.
