Franschhoek Pass remains closed until further notice

For safety reasons, Franschhoek Pass had to be closed after a rockfall on 22 June 2019. A geotechnical investigation is underway to determine the extent and nature of the damage. Only once the report on this assessment has been received will it be possible to determine the next steps. The pass remains closed until further notice.
