Media Alert: First Thursdays to focus on careers for women in Agriculture

In celebration of Women’s Month, the Ministry of Economic Opportunities will be hosting an informative session about career possibilities for women in agriculture this First Thursday.

Often perceived as a male dominated field, agriculture offers a wealth of opportunities for young people considering their careers, especially as agriculture embraces the smart technologies and scientific practices of the Fourth Industrial Revolution.

The evening will be an opportunity to network and learn from those working in the industry, especially for those wanting to break into the industry.

Members of the public and the media are welcome to attend.
