Premier Zille to Hit Home Stretch of Better Together Cycle Tour into Khayelitsha

Tomorrow, Thursday, 21 June, Premier Helen Zille will cycle into Khayelitsha on the home stretch of the Better Together Cycle Tour.

The cycling group accompanying Premier Zille, including ministers, officials and members of the Bicycle Empowerment Network (BEN), departed from Plettenberg Bay on Sunday, 17 June, and has made stops in Knysna, George, Mossel Bay, Albertinia and Riversdale at which there were bicycle handovers to community care worker groups, neighbourhood watches, farm children and schools. The group has cycled approximately 137 km up to today (Wednesday, 20 June). Premier Zille will be handing over bicycles to a neighbourhood watch and community care workers in Khayelitsha.
