Women’s Month - Minister Fritz to host 60 learners for young women’s engagement

Tomorrow, the Western Cape Minister of Social Development, Albert Fritz, will host 60 learners from 4 schools across Cape Town for a Women’s Month Learner Stakeholder Engagement.

The event will be attended by young women who are academically gifted learners in Grade 11. They come from various communities on the Cape Flats.

The learners will be addressed, and will engage with three women, who themselves grew up in tough neighborhoods on the Cape Flats, but went on to become successful in their careers and lives. The learners will be addressed by;

  • Prof. Linda De Vries (University of the Western Cape),
  • Adv. Bonnie Currie (National Prosecuting Authority),
  • Ms. Tarryn Tomlinsom (Career & Life Coach)
  • Ms. Vicky Sampson (singer and public personality).

There will be an opportunity for photographs and interviews.

Time: 14:00 pm.
