Women’s Month: Ministers Fritz and Winde to announce Women Empowerment Initiativ

Today (11 August 2017), the Western Cape Minister of Social Development, Albert Fritz, joined by the Minister of Economic Opportunities, Alan Winde, will announce a groundbreaking women empowerment initiative.

The announcement will take place after a tour and visit of Sisters Incorporated, one of our funded shelters for abused women.

As we continue to commemorate Women’s Month, the Western Cape Government remains committed to providing services to all women, especially those who have been the victim of abuse.

There will be an opportunity for photographs and interviews.
