Team Western Cape reach 2nd place at National School Sport Championships

Team Western Cape performed well to reach 2^nd place overall at the National School Sport Championships Winter Games in Durban.

The Championships ran from 10 – 13 July 2017 and the Western Cape teams did well to win many gold medals. Daneldi Potgieter, one of the u/17 Tennis gold medal winners, said: “I concentrated well and enjoyed the games. The team supported each other well.” Team Western Cape was accompanied and supported by staff members from the Sport Development unit at the Department of Cultural Affairs and Sport (DCAS).
