Media Alert: Cape Town Museum to Be Housed In Historic Standard Bank Building

As Heritage Month begins, the brand new Cape Town Museum in Adderley Street will be announced by the Western Cape Government.

The Museum will be appropriately housed in the Old Standard Bank Building, a heritage building known to many as the Queen of Adderley Street.

The Cape Town Museum is a new generation institution that will provide residents of the city and visitors from other countries with many innovative ways of interacting with its displays. In addition, the Museum will promote transformation and social inclusion through being highly representative of the diverse heritage of the people of the Mother City.

Venue:          1st Floor Boardroom, Protea Assurance Building, Greenmarket Square and thereafter the new Cape Town Museum, Old Standard Bank Building, corner of Adderley and Darling Streets
