Notice of Road Works on R27 This Weekend

Road works will be taking place on the intersections of the R27 (West Coast Road) with Sandown/Tryall Road and Big Bay/Berkshire Boulevard on Saturday, 22 August 2015.

A detour will be set up along Jenny Lane/Sail Street to accommodate traffic on the Sandown/Tryall Road intersection.

Works will commence on the intersections from 5:00 on Saturday morning and traffic will be accommodated with the least delay and discomfort to the public.

Please note that a detour will be put in place along Jenny Lane and Sail Street to accommodate traffic while working on the intersection of the R27 (West Coast Road) with Sandown/Tryall Roads.

This detour will be clearly demarcated.

No detour is required when working on the intersection of the R27 (West Coast Road) with Big Bay/Berkshire Boulevard and traffic will be accommodated on the existing roadway through lane merging.

Please avoid these areas of work as delays can be expected.

The safety and convenience of the travelling public are of utmost importance and every effort will be made to ensure that all temporary road signs, cones, flagmen and speed controls are maintained and are effective, and that courtesy is extended to the public at all times.

The public is requested to be patient and exercise caution when using the road.
