Minister Marais Meets West Coast Regional Staff

On Tuesday, 23 June 2015, Minister Anroux Marais visited various offices in the West Coast as part of her programme to meet staff members working in the regions.

Minister Marais visited the Melkbos Oppiesee and Melkbos Cultural facilities, where she met the staff responsible for the daily running of the facilities. The Minister was given a tour of the facilities and could see how groups use the facilities for various events.

Next Minister Marais visited the Wheat Industry Museum in Moorreesburg, where she was taken on a tour of the museum and could see the various equipment used for wheat production. She also met all staff members working at the museum.

The Minister finished her day in Vredenburg, where she met the staff members based at the regional Sport office. Minister Marais had the opportunity to speak to all staff members about their roles and day-to-day operations.
