Chapman’s Peak Drive Closed until Further Notice

The Chapman’s Peak Drive and Toll Plaza have been closed until further notice as travelling through the drive has become dangerous due to high-risk weather conditions.

The concessionaire managing the drive on behalf of the Western Cape Government will be monitoring the situation.

The drive will be re-opened once deemed safe for motorists and other road users. Please make use of Old Kaapse Weg as an alternative route.

During the winter season, more road closures on the drive will be imposed due to unknown and possible risk factors.
