Minister Marais meets Metro Staff Members

On Tuesday, 2 June 2015, Minister Anroux Marais visited various Department of Cultural Affairs and Sport offices in the Metro to meet staff members as part of her meet and greet schedule.

The Minister started her day at the ECM office in Caledon street, where she saw training being conducted for officials from the Department of Education. Minister Marais also met all of the DCAS and Datacentrix staff members working in the building.

Minister Marais then went to the Library Service building, where Director Nomaza Dingayo took her around to meet all the staff in the building. The Minister also had the opportunity to see how the process works where regional librarians select new books for their libraries.

The Cape Medical Museum was next on the schedule, where staff members and members of the Museum Board showed Minister Marais all the exhibitions. The Minister ended her day at the Metro Sport office in Observatory, where she was shown the sport facilities and met all the staff members.
