Ministers to Conduct Level Crossing Safety Campaign in Stellenbosch

Donald Grant, Minister of Transport and Public Works and Dipou Peters, National Minister of Transport will be participating in level crossing awareness operations at both the Bergkelder and Kayamandi level crossings in Stellenbosch as part of the National Department of Transport and the Railway Safety Regulator’s (RSR) “Level Crossing Safety Awareness Campaign”.

The operation takes place on 2 October 2014 and will focus on motorists and pedestrians, encouraging them to exercise extreme caution when approaching and negotiating level crossings.
