New Crash Video Shows Dangers of Speeding

26 August 2014

As part of August’s road safety theme of “Speed Kills – Get the Facts”, the Department of Transport and Public Works’ Safely Home campaign has released a new crash video.

The crash video is part of the Crash Witness Campaign, a partnership with Sanral, the City of Cape Town and road safety awareness campaigners Fatal Moves.

The video shows how quickly an excessive speed situation can go horribly wrong, and informs viewers about the basic facts around speed’s role in road crashes.

You can view the video on Safely Home’s website.
