Media Alert: World Homeless Day

World Homeless Day is observed on 10 October. Western Cape Minister of Social Development, Albert Fritz, will be speaking at an event hosted by the City of Cape Town to focus on the plight of homeless people.

The purpose of World Homeless Day is to draw attention to homeless people’s needs locally and provide opportunities for the community to get involved in responding to homelessness.

There will be photograph and interview opportunities.
