Minister to Recap Achievements at South African Housing Federation Conference

Western Cape Government Human Settlements Minister will deliver the closing address at the 2013 South African Housing Federation (SAHF) International Conference at 12:40 pm on Wednesday 18 September, at the Cape Sun Hotel in Strand Street, Cape Town.

Minister Madikizela will review the themes of the last five conferences and will highlight some of the successes of the Western Cape Human Settlements Department in relation to these themes, with a focus on service delivery since 2009. The themes are

• 2013 – Public Private Partnerships
• 2012 – Building Capacity for Sustainable Delivery
• 2011 – Social Housing the way forward
• 2010 – Green technology for Sustainable Human Settlements
• 2009 – Spotlight on housing for 2010
