Media Alert: Minister Alan Winde Unveils Red Tape Reduction Plan

Alan Winde, Minister of Finance, Economic Development Tourism, will embark on a week-long Red Tape Reduction public awareness campaign, which will be launched by a site visit to the Red Tape Call Centre on Monday, 22 July 2013.
 
During Monday’s site visit Minster Winde will reveal the latest call centre statistics following the recent radio and newsletter Red Tape Reduction awareness campaign.
 
The month-long campaign targeted several regional and community radio stations and ended last week.
Minister Winde will also meet with small business owners who have been assisted by the Red Tape Reduction Unit.

On Tuesday, 23 July 2013, Minister Winde will visit the Western Cape Government Walk-In Centre in Dorp Street for an update on how the facility has streamlined several processes for small business people since it was launched six months ago.
 
That same day Minister Winde will meet with a small business owner who secured a multi-million rand contract after red tape hassles were resolved.
