Western Cape Housing Demand Database Drive goes to Cape Winelands

The Western Cape Department of Human Settlements, together with the Witzenberg and Langeberg Municipalities, will embark on a Housing Demand Database Verification and Registration Drive on the weekend of the 26th & 27th October.

Citizens who need to register for the first time, or update their details, on the Housing Demand Database is encouraged to visit one of the venues over the coming weekend. This drive is to ensure that citizens’ details on the Housing Demand Database is accurate and up to date, as this could have a direct impact on being selected for a housing opportunity from government.

Following the success of the “Pilot Drive” conducted in the George municipal area on the 14th and 15th September, the Department is now in full swing to roll out the initiative across the Western Cape province over the next coming weeks.

The coming weekend will cover the Witzenberg and Langeberg Municipal areas of the Cape Winelands District.

Details are as follows:

Dates: Saturday, 26th October and Sunday, 27th October

Time: Saturday – 09h00 to 17h00; Sunday 09h00 to 14h00

  • Bella Vista Community Hall, Kristante Street, Bella Vista, Ceres
  • King Edwards Sports Hall, Piet Retief Street, Montagu
  • Robertson Thusong Centre, Cnr. Paddy and Wesley Street, Robertson
