Media Alert: Minister Madikizela to Hand Over Houses in Kleinmond

Western Cape Government Human Settlements Minister will hand over houses in Kleinmond, Overstrand Municipality, Western Cape on Thursday, 17 November 2011. 90 houses are ready for occupation.

The project consists of 410 houses, all of which have been completed. Of the 410 houses, 320 have already been handed over to beneficiaries. A total of R6.6 million has been spent on the project. The units have been electrified, and solar heating is in operation. Quality has been ensured through National Home Builders Registration Council (NHBRC) accreditation.

Directions:
Take the N2 from Cape Town, past Somerset West and over Sir Lowry's pass. Turn right towards Kleinmond - about an hour drive from Cape Town. Drive in Main Road, Kleinmond. Turn right into Protea Road. Turn right again into School Street, and then left into 11th Street. Drive up 11th Street and turn left into Luntu Road, on the most northern grey paved road. Follow the road to the highest point, and you will find the location.
