Minister Madikizela To Hand Over 300 Title Deeds In Hermanus

Today, Thursday 11 April 2019,  Western Cape Human Settlements Minister, Bonginkosi Madikizela, will hand over about 300 title deeds in Mount Pleasant, Hawston and Kleinmond in the Overstrabd Municipal area.

The Title Deeds Restoration programme is aimed at ensuring compl0ete property ownership by historically disadvantaged people of South Africa. Some of the beneficiaries who will receive title deeds from Minister Madikizela include people registered in the old scheme (pre-1994), People’s Housing Process and the integrated Residential Development Programme (IRDP).

The Western Cape Department of Human Settlements has since 2009 facilitated the transfer of 103 000 title deeds in the province.

Minister Madikizela will be joined by Overstrand Executive Mayor, Dudley Coetzee during all events.
