Human Settlements launches a R50 million project in the West Coast Region

Western Cape Human Settlements Minister, Bonginkosi Madikizela, launched a multi-million-rand housing project in Vredendal in the Matzikama Municipal area with a sod- turning ceremony.

The project will consist of 400 Breaking New Ground (BNG) houses and is expected to be completed later this year.

Minister Madikizela emphasized that the elderly and disabled citizens must be prioritised in the housing allocation process. He also stated that the principal of “first come first serve must apply.”
