Other beneficiaries on the day will include Nombulelo Tsitsa (52) from Philippi, who originates from the Eastern Cape and has been living her whole life renting a room in someone else’s home.

Joy Jeptha (44) grew up in the orphanage and suddenly found herself living on the streets. She ended up working at the Holy Cross Nursery and Educare Centre as a cleaner. She qualifies and now will occupy a bachelor unit at Belhar Gardens.
