Media Alert: Minister Fritz to Hand Over R1.3 Million to Rape Crisis

Western Cape Minister of Social Development, Albert Fritz, will be handing over a cheque for R1.3 million to Rape Crisis Cape Town on Thursday 28 February 2013.

With one woman in this country being raped every four minutes, the work done by Rape Crisis is crucial to rape survivors and their families.

The Minister will also be issuing a challenge to the private sector to equal or better the contribution by the Western Cape Government.
