Seniors to Compete in Olympiatrics

In keeping with Older Persons' Week, nearly 600 seniors from the various service centres in the Metro South Region will be competing in an Olympiatrics event at Vygieskraal Stadium on 4 October.

Physical exercise programmes have been so popular at the various old age service centres that a platform was created for the seniors to compete on a bigger scale.

Western Cape Minister of Social Development, Albert Fritz, will be addressing the athletes just before they kick off their track and field events.
