Minister Fritz to Send off Team SA to Homeless World Cup

On 3 October, Western Cape Minister of Social Development, Albert Fritz, along with several other dignitaries, will be sending off Team SA to compete in the Homeless World Cup in Mexico.

The SA Homeless Street Soccer organisation has selected a team of eight players for this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. These players face incredible socio-economic hardships in their daily lives and have triumphed over these obstacles to be selected to represent South Africa internationally.
