Newly upgraded R300 000 Consumer Studies classroom to be launched by MEC Fritz

3 May 2018

Tomorrow, Western Cape Social Development MEC Adv. Albert Fritz, will launch a newly upgraded R300 000 Consumer Studies classroom at Saxonsea Secondary School.

The upgrade of the facility is courtesy of the generosity of the GrandWest Casino.

This facility will benefit the young people at the school looking to train in culinary and other associated hospitality skill-sets at this school.

This class will benefit underprivileged learners, as many of these learners come from poor communities with serious social problems, such as gangsterism, substance abuse and poverty.

There will be opportunities for interviews and photographs.

Date: 04 May 2018 (Tomorrow)

Time: 09:00am.

Venue:  Saxonsea Secondary School, Hermes Avenue, Saxonsea, Atlantis.
