Minister to launch Youth Entrepreneurship Expo in Robertson

Today, the Western Cape Minister of Social Development will launch the Youth Entrepreneurship Expo in Robertson.

The MEC will be joined by the Langeberg Municipality Executive Mayor, Cllr. Henry Jansen.

The Expo will see 33 young people (aged between 16 – 35 year old) from Robertson and surrounding areas, which are not in education, employment or training (NEETs) undergo an intense week-long training and development workshop.

The Expo will focus on developing hard and soft skills in business development, entrepreneurship and leadership.

This initiative is in line with the department’s efforts to build a generation of confident and self-reliant youth, and is guided by the Provincial Youth Development Strategy.

There will be opportunities for interviews and photographs.
