Department to host 3rd annual Minister Youth Excellence Awards
Tomorrow, the Department of Social Development will host the 3rd annual Ministerial Youth Excellence Awards.
The awards evening will see 19 youth organizations from the NGO sector and the private sector, battle it out in 7 categories for prestigious youth awards.
The awards will be addressed by the Western Cape Minister of Social Development, Albert Fritz, and the keynote speaker will be Western Cape Premier, Helen Zille.
The awards will showcase some of the most advanced and innovative youth programmes in the Western Cape. The evening will also be a celebration of youth from across the province who have excelled in areas of business, social enterprise and other endeavours.
There will be an opportunity for photos and interviews.
