Groot Brak River Youth Cafe to be launched by Department

29 June 2017

Tomorrow, the Western Cape Department of Social Development will launch the Groot Brak Youth Café.

This new state-of-the-art R6.5-million facility is located in Groot Brak River, near Mossel Bay. Its location means rural youth have preferential access to the Youth Café, without excluding young people from Mossel Bay and surrounding areas too.

The Department will be joined by our partners from the Mossel Bay Municipality, represented by the Mayor Levendal, and representatives from PetroSA.

The Youth Café will offer opportunities for entrepreneurial, leadership and other skills training, including internet access for job seekers or entrepreneurs.

There will be an opportunity for photos and interviews.

Date: 30 June 2017 (Tomorrow)

Time: 14:00pm.

Venue: Hibiscus Street, Green Haven, Groot Brak River
