Department to sign service MOU with Oudtshoorn Municipality

Today, Western Cape Social Development MEC, Adv. Albert Fritz, will sign a memorandum of understanding with the Mayor of Oudtshoorn, Cllr. Colan Sylvester.

The memorandum will set out our partnership in delivering key social services in the area. The MOU structures our relationship with regards to responding to the most vulnerable segments of society in Oudtshoorn, such as children, people with disabilities and older persons.

The MEC and Mayor will be joined by the Department’s Eden Karoo Regional Director, Ms. Marie Hendricks, the Oudtshoorn Municipal Manager, Mr. Alan Paulse and Councillors.

There will be opportunities for interviews and photographs.
