Renowned Mouth-Painting artist to host fun day in Khayelitsha with MEC Fritz

Tomorrow, as part of our ongoing commemoration of Disability Awareness Month, the Western Cape MEC for Social Development, Albert Fritz, will be hosting a paint & arts fun day for 19 children with disabilities in Khayelitsha.

The fun day will be held at the Sibongile Day & Night Care Centre, an ECD centre and home for children with physical and intellectual disabilities, funded by the Department.

MEC Fritz will be joined by renowned quadriplegic mouth-painter, Mr. Brenton Swartz, from the Andries Olivier Quadriplegic Centre, who will host a mouth painting demonstration and lesson for the children and MEC Fritz.

 There will be opportunities for interviews and photographs.

Date: 21 November 2016

Time: 11:00am (Tomorrow).
