Minister Fritz to launch Braai Polar world record attempt

Tomorrow (15 December 2015) Western Cape Minister of Social Development, Adv. Albert Fritz, will officially launch the Braai Polar world record attempt at the V&A Waterfront.

Braai Polar is an initiative of Face Polar which is headed by Mr. Richard Knoetze to raise awareness about Bipolar Disorder, and other mental illnesses. Knoetze, himself living with bipolar disorder, established Face Bipolar as a digital platform formed for those that suffer from bipolar and their families and anyone else that is affected by the disorder under the slogan of ‘Built by Bipolars for Bipolars’.

Mr. Knoetze will be attempting to break the Guinness World record for the longest BBQ (or braai).

There will be opportunities for interviews and photographs.
