Khuseleka One Stop Centre to be launched by Minister Albert Fritz

As we continue to commemorate Women’s Month, the Western Cape Social Development Minister, Mr Albert Fritz, will on Wednesday launch the department's Khuseleka One Stop Centre at the Saartjie Baartman Centre for Women & Children in Manenberg.

The Khuseleka Model is the department’s flagship women protection and empowerment model, and is operated in partnership with our funded NGO partner the Saartjie Bartman Centre, the South African Police Services, the Hawks, the National Prosecuting Authority, SASSA, Business Against Crime, the Western Cape Departments of Community Safety and Education, and the National Departments of Justice, Correctional Services, and Home Affairs. Each stakeholder will be present at the launch.

There will be opportunities for interviews and photographs.

Date: 26 August 2015 (Wednesday)

Time: 09:00am, with Minister scheduled to speak at 09:20am.

Venue: Klipfontein Road (opposite the Western Cape Nurses' Training College), Manenberg, Cape Town.
