2015/2016 Cultural Affairs Awards Ceremony Addressed By Minister Marais

On Wednesday, 3 February 2016, Western Cape Minister of Cultural Affairs and Sport, Anroux Marais will deliver the keynote address at the annual provincial Cultural Affairs Awards ceremony in Paarl.

The Western Cape Cultural Affairs Awards are held annually to celebrate individuals and organisations in the Western Cape who are making a positive contribution in the Cultural Affairs sector.  Awards have previously been given to organisations and individuals who have made a profound impact within the Arts, Culture, Language, Heritage, Museums, Archives, Geographical Names and Libraries sectors in the province over the years.

The Programme will be directed by Katlego Maboe. Guests will be entertained with traditional music and dancers: Thandi Mandela’s Traditional Music, Art and Event Emporium and Die Nuwe Graskoue Trappers, to name a few.
