Minister Reagen Allen said: “These successes are a clear demonstration of the Western Cape’s Government commitment to achieving greater safety across the province. We have and will continue investing in these units to ensure residents throughout the province can live in safer areas. My gratitude goes to all of our officers and our K-9 friends for the sterling work they are doing. I urge our officers to continue making the lives of criminals uncomfortable.”
“Each and every one of us have a responsibility to support all law enforcement units, including the South African Police Service (SAPS). It is only through cooperation and collaboration that we would be able to overcome crime and ultimately reduce the murder rate by 50% across the province by 2029,” concluded provincial Minister Reagen Allen.
