Minister Fritz to meet with Central Karoo safety stakeholders

Tomorrow, the Minister of Community Safety, Albert Fritz, will launch the Central Karoo District Municipalities’ Community Safety Forum.

The launch will include:

• A presentation of the Policing Needs and Priorities and the Safety Plan Review of 20 August 2019;
• The development of project plans;
• An outline the safety forum and the terms of reference; and
• The appointment by Municipalities’ and Departments’ of project champions.

The launch follows District Municipalities’ Policing Needs and Priorities workshop which took place earlier this year, informing the budget allocated to provincial government in terms of community safety’s reported needs.
