Minister Grant to Assess School Readiness

Minister Donald Grant will be visiting six schools tomorrow around the Cape Town metropole to assess school readiness and wish learners and educators well for the 2010 academic year.

Maximum effort has been put in to ensure that schools are prepared and equipped to start the new school year.

This planning culminated in November 2009, and the level of preparation is without precedence.

The Minister will in constant contact with the Head of Department of Education in the province and senior officials in order to respond timeously to any problems that may arise.

The Minister will be visiting the following schools:
