Media Alert: MEC to Visit Grade 12 Holiday Tutoring Programme

Tomorrow, Western Cape Education Minister Donald Grant will be visiting Masiphumelele High School in Fish Hoek where Grade twelve (12) learners are participating in a holiday tutoring programme.

The tutoring programme forms part the of the Western Cape Education Department's WCED's "Own your future. Own your success. Study hard to pass YOUR matric" campaign, which assists Grade twelve (12) learners in preparing for their final National Senior Certificate Examinations.

The WCED initiated a number of tutorial programmes throughout the province in the second term. These programmes are continuing to run throughout the holiday period in order to assist Grade twelve (12) learners.

Masiphumelele High School is one of one hundred and fifty four (154) venues that are offering tutoring programmes during the holiday period.
