Media Alert: Cape Town Plans ahead for Winter

Various City departments have started to co-ordinate and implement their plans and mitigation measures to minimise flood risk and manage flooding and storm damage in the coming months.

The Mayoral Committee Member for Transport, Roads and Major Projects, Councillor Elizabeth Thompson, will host a media briefing on the City's plans and readiness by relevant departments/sections such as Disaster Risk Management, Catchment Management, Roads and Stormwater, Housing and the 107 Call Centre.
