Young Citizens to Assist Reviewing City's Youth Policy at Workshop

In the lead-up to the presentation of its review of the Youth Policy, the City's Social Development Department will host a Youth Policy Preparatory Review Workshop at the Civic Centre on Saturday.

Some 300 participants from various youth organisations across Cape Town are expected to attend.

The following aspects will be addressed during the workshop:

• A presentation on local government's role in youth development.
• Identification of the challenges which may arise.
• Identification of the policy content suggested for review.
• Suggestions for priority programmes pertaining to youth development.
