Media Alert: Press Conference on IDP Disaster
The Director-General of the Western Cape Government, Ms Virginia Peterson, and the Head of the Provincial Disaster Management Centre, Ms Hildegard Fast, will today (Tues) address a media briefing on the Provincial Disaster relating to Internally Displaced People (IDPs).
The media briefing will focus on:
1. An assessment of the progress made thus far in implementing the Provincial Government's three-pronged strategy for dealing with the disaster, and;
2. The plan for the way forward, specifically relating re-integration.
