Media Alert: MEC De Lille to Visit Matzikama Flood Affected Areas

Western Cape Social Development Minister, Patricia De Lille will be visiting the Matzikama Municipal area on the West Coast tomorrow. (December 17, 2010) The area was hit by severe flooding, which displaced more than 250 people. Officials from the Department of Social Development are in the process of rendering support to the affected families, and further assessments will be conducted tomorrow.

The Minister will be visiting the following communities in the area:
