DSD Langa local office with Child Therapy Room to be launched

Tomorrow, as part of our 16 Days of Activism campaign, the Western Cape Social Development Minister, Albert Fritz, will launch the department’s Langa local office.

This local office is particularly noteworthy, as it (like all others) renders specialist child protection services through a team of dedicated social workers, but is the first to be built with a Child Therapy Room.

This local office expands our provincial footprint, and brings services closer to communities. This office will bring our provincial footprint to 6 regional offices overseeing 37 local offices across the province.

There will be opportunities for interviews and photographs.
