This Sunday, as part of his ongoing anti-older abuse oversight visits in the run up to the festive season, Western Cape MEC for Social Development, Albert Fritz, will conduct a visit to 300 seniors in Mitchells Plain.
The visit forms part of his ongoing monitoring and outreach to the elderly across the province.
These visits are important especially as we head towards the festive season, when many older persons experience neglect or abuse. MEC Fritz will also hold an early Christmas party for the elderly, to mark the nearing of the end of the year.
There will be opportunities for interviews and photographs.
Date: 27 November 2016 (Sunday)
Time: 12:00pm
Venue: Westridge Civic Centre, Mitchells Plain.
