Ministerial oversight visit to Water Reclamation Plant in Beaufort West

Finance Minister, Dr Ivan Meyer recently visited the Beaufort West Reclamation Plant which is the first of its kind in South Africa.

The Water Reclamation Plant is the first direct toilet-to-tap water reclamation plant in South Africa and illustrates how the Beaufort West municipality was successful in dealing with water scarcity in the region.
