Young entrepreneurs to attend funding workshops

Young entrepreneurs from across the city will attend funding workshops this week.

On Tuesday (15 November 2016), graduates from the Raymond Ackerman Foundation will attend an Investment Readiness session, hosted by the Western Cape Department of Economic Development and Tourism.

Alan Winde, Minister of Economic Opportunities, will address the entrepreneurs ahead of the session.

Areas of focus for the sessions include:

• Forms of funding
• Due diligence processes
• Red flags at investment committee levels
• Steps to improve investment readiness
• Understand common requirements of funders
• Insights into the language of funders
• Structuring financial statements
