MEC Lennit Max Starts Community Policing Forum (CPF) Roadshow in Cape Winelands and the Overberg

The MEC for Department of Community Safety, Adv. Lennit Max, will start the first leg of the Department's *Roadshow (August - November) for Community Safety Structures in the Cape Winelands and the Overberg.

The MEC will be accompanied by representatives from SAPS, the CPF Board and BAC.

Says Max: The Department of Community Safety will make sure that strong and healthy partnerships exists between the police and the community they serve. The CPF and neighborhood watch must be the eyes and ears of the police in every community in the province. In this way we will combat crime effectively and create safer communities, without the fear of crime.
