Media Alert: Minister to Visit Integrated Operation to Clamp Down on Unsafe Taxis Transporting Learners

MEC of Community Safety, Albert Fritz and MEC of Transport and Public Works, Robin Carlisle, will tomorrow morning visit an integrated operation between the City of Cape Town Traffic and Provincial Traffic, with the aim to rid our roads of unsafe taxis transporting learners.

This operation ties in with the provincial government's Safely Home Campaign and will see law enforcement officers show zero tolerance for unsafe vehicles and unlawful operators.

Note: There will be photograph and interview opportunities.
